KFP

Empowering individuals through sports,
fostering teamwork and community spirit.

Kingsford Fastpitch (KFP) is a non-profit competitive girls' youth softball organization located in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We are a close-knit family of teams united by a shared love for the game and a common goal: to empower female athletes to reach their full potential-both on and off the field.

At KFP, our core values drive us: integrity, strength, pride, sportsmanship, and a relentless work ethic. We focus not just on performance but on shaping well-rounded individuals. Our mission is to help our athletes develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed at the highest level while also fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.

We believe that softball is what our athletes do, but it is not who they are. Our commitment goes beyond wins and losses; it is rooted in creating a culture of respect, teamwork, and dedication. By cultivating unity and purpose, we prepare our athletes to overcome any challenge life may throw their way.

 Core Values

At Kingsford Fastpitch, we hold ourselves to the same high standards we instill in our players. We   believe that integrity, strength, pride, and work ethic are the pillars that guide our community and   define who we are.

  • Integrity - We do what's right, always. On and off the field, we hold ourselves accountable, fostering trust within our teams and our community. We take ownership of our actions and lead by example.

  • Strength - We are a united community, built by our players, coaches, families, officials, and supporters. We lift each other up, serve as role models, and seek to learn with and from others. By building meaningful relationships, we create a strong and vibrant community.

  • Pride & Sportsmanship - We take immense pride in what we do and wear the KFP name with honor. We lead with integrity, respect the game, and demonstrate sportsmanship in all situations. We are committed to leaving a legacy of pride that our players will carry for a lifetime.

  • Work Ethic - Our relentless commitment to growth drives us. We believe that success comes from continuous effort, both mentally and physically. Day in and day out, we remain humble, hungry, and focused on the process. Our work ethic shapes not only our performance but our character.
